Manic Dance

This particular violin is what I have dubbed "The Frankenstein". My girlfriend's uncle was once a garbage collector and loved to collect violins, guitars, and other various instruments people ditched in their garbage.
What did he do with those odd instruments once he held onto them, you may ask? He so graciously gave them to my girlfriend's father to see if he was interested in fixing them up, or to just do as he wished with them.

For years, the four violins just sat and sat, collecting dust, until the day I discovered their location. I examined each and every one of them, all having some sort of flaw that another did not. It clicked in my mind that I would choose the violin with the best body to be the host of parts from the other violins to be one complete violin!

What you see here is the finished outcome. I cannot tell you by whom the body was made, since it does not have any names on the inside where they normally can be seen if viewed from the f-holes.
What I can tell you is that it has brand new D'Addario Prelude strings. They're the steel core ones; the strings I believe to be the ones great for students. I also can tell you that I currently have light rosin and what appears to be a John Brasp wooden bow. I'm not sure of the last letter since it has been obscured. It could be a "D","H", or "O" if it's not a "P".
Like I said earlier, I put this together out of junked instruments. It still needs some work. n_n
